The Center for Oral Health Research Laboratory is pleased to offer on a fee for service basis equipment and services to MUSC investigators. For a complete list of equipment see Laboratory Resources.

• Realtime and conventional PCR
  BioRad iCycler iQ real-time PCR detection system, Applied Biosystems Stepone Plus real-time PCR system.
• Use of tissue culture laboratory
  Contains two Thermo Electron Corp. Model 1286 (6 ft.) biological safety cabinets, two Thermo Electron Corp. 3110 CO2 Incubators, Olympus Zoom Stereo Microscope, an Olympus Culture (inverted) CKX41 Microscope with a digital camera and refrigerator and freezer space.
• Downstream imaging and endpoint instruments
  Including Pierce SearchLight CCD Mulitplex ELISA Imaging and Analysis System, BMG Labtechnologies FLUOstar OPTIMA plate reader, BioRad Chemidoc XRS Gel Documentation System, Faxitron LX-60 radiography system, and a Konica Minolta SRX-101A X-ray film processor.
